Okay let’s just go straight to the point. As a man, what are your moral codes? This is an era where anything goes, an era where finding a well put together man, is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Too many men not raising their standards, and too much of everything focusing so much more on women that I do fear sooner than later, we’ll have a great imbalance in society.
Think about it, from parenting in the homes giving more attention to the girls and the different empowerment programmes for the girl child and for women.
Check these out as a man and find out if they reflect you more or less, and you can tell where you stand. Are you a real gentle man, or just another piece of ***t wasting air and space? Pardon the language.
SILLY SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT.
I can’t do this or that. I never did this or that in my life. If you grew with a wrong set of lessons, adulthood is your life to take a hold of. If you think when you get married, your wife becomes your maid and MUST do the things you want, at all the times you want it. That’s rubbish. If you think that uncle or friend owes you anything, you are a joker. Too many people do not take responsibility for their lives.
APPEARANCE & DRESS CODES.
What a person thinks in their mind is what they show on the outside. How a person dresses, says a lot about them. Do you take care of how you appear? Is it always torn jeans, dirty clothes, sagging trousers, long nails. There are people you will meet in life who will appraise you with just one look through how you appear before them, and that could make them write you off forever, this could be for a potential opportunity. Hairstyles and even how you smell are part of your codes as a man.
VULGARITY
You get to see how many vulgar people are around from the comments made through the internet. If you haven’t cleansed your words as a man, there’s a problem. You are totally comfortable with saying rubbish, with typing rubbish. Take your words to be part of your person and your dressing. I especially pity those quick to call a female a whore and other nasty terms, because they just have to demean the female sex in that manner. Does this make them feel better about themselves?
SEXUAL LAXITY
A sexually loose lady is called different names, but a sexually loose man is often hailed as a champ. A real gentleman with a moral code understands that’s not the kind of life that brings greatness, fulfillment and blessings. A proudly sexually lax man, is just a public toilet with little respect for his own self or for others.
WRONG COMPANY
What is the nature of the company you surround yourself with as a man? As you grow, except you are not growing, your circle should change, change to become more valuable, more in line with what you want, wrong company has such a strong influence that you do not know when you’ll fall. Sometimes, the best way to save yourself is to stay far away from anything that does not serve you.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL LAZINESS
Lack of mental stimulation and a lack of willingness to move from the spot you are to see the change you want in your life. Instead, you think you will just “blow”, in the end, hope you actually don’t blow yourself into a non-existent blowing. Too many free courses online not to acquire some extra knowledge. Too many modern day skills to earn you a living than just hoping to “blow”
Men should stop forgetting their place as leaders and raise their standards. A man should have some firm sets of values and principles for his present life and his future life. Are you decent, kind, selfless, chivalrous, have a sense of responsibility for yourself and for others under your care, or who look up to you? Are you hardworking, physically and mentally? Ignore the nay Sayers, living well pays off well,it gives you peace and respect and sustained success.
